ゆたかな感性育てるプレイス

AP（アートプラザ）どのうは茨城県取手市を拠点とするアーティストランスペースです。スペース借用後、3日後に大雨による浸水が発生して以来入り口にどのうを置くようになりました。
APどのうの運営をおこなうアーティストは、創作の着眼点を「郊外」から得ることが多く、「郊外」のエッセンスを内包したスペースとなっています。
一定の安定性を持つホワイトキューブではなく、このスペースが持つ特異性と作品が共存する展覧会をアーティストとともにつくります。

The Place to Nurture a Rich Sensibility

AP Donou is an artist-run space based in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Since the space was flooded by heavy rains three days after it was rented, a window has been placed at the entrance.
The artists who operate AP Donou often get their creative inspiration from the “suburbs,” and the space has the essence of the “suburbs” within it.
Rather than a white cube with a certain stability, we will work with the artists to create an exhibition in which the specificity of the space and their works coexist.
